What is the process like?


Each client's process is unique to their project needs. For example if we're working on your logo, you will start by completing a questionnaire I will provide. If you need a website, you'll be preparing content and sending over professional photos for review. We're working together, so it's important to complete your homework. Whatever the project may be, it'll be fun work and we will be communicating often to ensure a smooth process and to achieve the desired outcome.




What is your availability?


Business hours are Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm. Because of the high volume of emails I receive, please allow me 24 to 48 hours to reply. Projects are booked on a first come, first serve basis.




Is a deposit required?


Yes, a deposit is required for all branding projects. Branding projects include logos, websites, or package plans. Deposits are as follows:

  • 50% of the total cost are due on the day you book.
  • 25% of the total cost is due on the day we begin your project, which is usually 1 to 2 weeks after you book.
  • The remaining 25% is due upon completion of your project.




What will the turnaround time be on my project?


Turnaround times depending on the project type. We will discuss estimated completion times and deadlines for deliverables before we begin. Also keep in mind that you will play a major role in the project timeline by completing homework, preparing text and content, and sending professional photos in a timely manner.




How will we communicate during my project?


I prefer email communications in order to keep track of our interactions and exchange of information. However, if we need to schedule a time to communicate via phone, Skype, or a local meeting, that can be arranged.




I need a website. What do you need from me to get started?


All content + imagery is important. Please have all text prepared in a Word document. Also, please make sure it is free of any spelling errors before sending. All photos should be in JPEG or PNG format. Professional or stock photos are a must! It makes everything look... professional! I can provide imagery upon request, but there will be a fee added to the project cost for stock imagery.




Will I be able to make updates to my site?


Yes! Once I complete the design, I transfer the web design over to you and you have full control. If you ever need updates or redesign in the future, I can give you a quote based on the changes that need to be made.




How many drafts and revisions do I receive?


While in the creative process, two rounds of revisions are allowed for every project, and four revisions allowed for web design. After the included revisions, additional revisions will be based on my hourly rate of $50/hr.




What formats will I receive for my deliverables?


Logos are delivered in JPEG, PNG, PDF & EPS formats. Digital graphics are provided as JPEG or PNG, and are formatted and sized properly for use. Print-ready graphics are designed with the necessary bleed room.




Do you print deliverables?


I do not print any projects. However, I do provide items print-ready to go straight to print, which I have found beneficial to the client as you can print the quantity you need at your convenience. If your preferred printing company has special instructions for their print jobs, please let me know before we begin design work.




We're in the middle of my project, can I cancel?


Yes, however, deposits are non-refundable and if I have started design work, we will review the work that was completed so far, and you will be invoiced at my hourly rate of $50/hr.
